Russian airline Aeroflot announced today that it will start flights to the resort of Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, as of October 1.

Moscow-Punta Cana-Moscow flights will be operated by Airbus A350-900s three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the airline said.
