President Luis Abinader will be this weekend in the municipality of Cotui, Duarte province and Santiago, where he will develop a work agenda that includes meetings with agricultural and business sectors, neighborhood councils, inaugurations, among other activities.
The press office of the Presidency indicated that this Friday the President will travel to Cotuí, province Sánchez Ramírez, where at 10:30 in the morning he will inaugurate the Market of Villa La Mata to later hold a meeting with the agricultural sector in the Senate Office of Sánchez Ramírez.
Later he will visit a park of Naves Industriales and then he will go to the Polideportivo where he will hold a lunch with neighborhood councils. Likewise, representatives of the business sector will hold a meeting with President Abinader at the Senatorial Office of this municipality.
Later he will lead the delivery of technological equipment together with the Ministry of Education and then he will visit the Hatillo Dam and will conclude with a dinner together with deputies, mayors and directors of the municipality.
Duarte and Santiago Provinces
On Saturday, he will travel to Duarte and Santiago provinces, where he will inaugurate several works and will deliver houses and property titles to farmers in the area.
The first activity in which the head of state will participate will be the Episcopal Consecration of Monsignor Ramon Alfredo De La Cruz Baldera, bishop-elect of San Francisco de Macoris. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Polideportivo Julian Javier at 9:45 am.
Abinader will also preside over the delivery of housing projects in the locality of Los Ranchos, Sabana Iglesia, in the province of Duarte.
In the La Canela neighborhood of San Francisco de Macoris, the president will deliver 1,377 property titles to farmers of the Dominican Agrarian Institute (IAD).
In the sector, the president will preside over the inauguration of the EDENORTE Electrification project, which will benefit hundreds of families in the area.
Later, Abinader will lead the inauguration of the Santiago Aqueduct and Sewage Corporation (CORAASAN) in Cienfuegos, Santiago de los Caballeros.
On Sunday, he will begin his work agenda in Santiago at 10:30 a.m. with the first inauguration of the Paseo de Gurabo Housing Project; then he will head the inauguration of the Diagnostic Center in Los Salados.
The head of state will finish his agenda with the delivery of titles to land owners, which will take place at the Play Nino Espinosa in Villa Altagracia.
President Abinader, since he assumed the leadership of the Government last August, has developed numerous actions in different provinces to listen to the needs of their inhabitants and provide solutions.
