The 21st edition of the Latin Music Tour has arrived

From Thursday to Saturday, the oldest cultural tourism event reigns at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana.

The 21st edition of the Latin Music Tour, with an overflowing attendance of tourists who came especially to the event from the interior and abroad, began Thursday night with a Dominican Night, which was enlivened by the drum major of merengue.

Fernando Villalona, the idol of the genre, Los Hermanos Rosario, Miriam Cruz, Jandy Ventura with El Legado and Urbanda delivered the most authentic and essentially Dominican music of all. The most sophisticated expression of the popular musical identity of this half-island: merengue.

ArtistsFernando Quezada, general producer of the Latin Music Tour and president of the Quepe tour agency, expressed his pride in meeting for the 21st time with a large number of people who have been regulars for years to the most persistent cultural tourism event in the Dominican Republic.

People arriving especially from the United States and other countries, as well as tourists vacationing at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, which has hosted the event for years, are part of the audience along with Dominicans who save throughout the year to be able to enjoy this giant music party.

Friday

Intense this Friday with the most popular bitter, the man who does not stop in the country and whose videos have millions of views: El Chaval de la Bachata.

Wason Brazobán will bring another corner of bitterness with ballads that speak of the daily life of love and the vagaries of heartbreak.

Alá Jazá represents the merengue-mambo or urban.

From Puerto Rico comes Cosculluela, of La Boda, Prrrum, Traicionera. And Rochy RD will surely close, in what will probably be his first presentation after his release from jail pending trial.

Saturday

On the third and last day, the presentations start at 12:00 noon with “Beach party” by Miriam Cruz and Jandy Ventura y El Legado, together with El Mayor Clásico, DJ Adonis and Braulio Fogón. It will be on the beach with lunch on the spot so that the public does not have to leave the beach area.

The end of this 21st edition of the Latin Music Tour will be at 9 p.m. with a “White Salsa Party”, a night in white to the rhythm of Afro-Antillean music dedicated to Colombia, with Grupo Niche, Puerto Rican salsa singer Tony Vega, and as hosts José Alberto El Canario and the young salsa singer Luis Gálvez, who joined the line-up. One senses that this last part will probably be in the Filmore Hall or in the Woodstock Plaza located in the center of the gigantic tourist facility.
In between will be Dj Alberto Peralta, Dj La Maldita Película and Dj Mariachi Budda.
Sunday will be the homecoming.
