TIC gives awareness talk to MITUR collaborators

Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) gives an awareness-raising talk to MITUR collaborators.

This talk will be given in virtual mode during the month of August.

With the main objective of creating awareness among the employees of the Ministry of Tourism and to ensure the care of security and information in the technological systems of the institution, a talk was given to its employees.

During the meeting, Franklin Arosemena, ICT director of MITUR, pointed out some relevant points, such as the importance of identifying a cybersecurity threat, knowing the attackers, their reasons for attacking, as well as the plans and strategies of the institution and the State in terms of cybersecurity.

In the same sense, the person in charge of Security and Monitoring, Ambiory Morillo, expressed that in order to preserve the security of our system it is necessary to make a backup copy of all the data, to keep ourselves constantly updated and to use strong passwords.
