Caribbean cinemas screens “Spiral” from the universe of the “Saw” saga

The game of fear continues with a film from the “Saw” universe entitled “Spiral” with which they take the public to the level of suspense accustomed with their past productions and in which they add new forms of fear, new protagonists and a pinch of humor.

The reboot of the legendary gore and torture saga was presented by Caribbean Cinemas last Wednesday, May 19 at Caribbean Cinemas in Downtown Center where, in order to continue with the distancing measures and the Covid 19 protocol, a select group of media and film critics attended to enjoy the film in the XX theater, where they were assigned selected seats and with the proper distancing applied by the authorities.

The new terrifying chapter of “Saw” created by James Wan and Leigh Whannell continues with the direction of Darren Lynn Bousman, who so far has directed the 9 films of the franchise and this time directs the idea of actor and producer Chris Rock, who joins the game of the saga and who stars in this latest chapter along with renowned actor Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella and Marisol Nichols.

“Spiral” focuses on police veteran Marcus Bank who, working in the shadows, along with his son Detective Zeke and rookie partner William, take charge of a grisly murder investigation eerily reminiscent of the city’s grisly past involving the notorious serial killer “Jinsaw.” Unconsciously trapped in an ever-deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game as well as those around him who could pay the lethal consequences of the slightest mistake he might make.

“Spiral” will be commercially released to audiences this Thursday, May 20, 2021. For more information and to purchase tickets go to: www.caribbeancinemas.com
