The educational and entertainment platform Latin Plug Dominican Republic held the awards ceremony for the winners of the categories of its first edition, a recognition of great personalities who have made significant contributions to Latinos with their great talent.
According to a press release, the event led by Lili Paredes, director of Latin Plug Dominican Republic was full of emotions and talents of the music and entertainment industry.
Latin Plug Dominican Republic honors great figures who are renowned in the industry and who have contributed their experience, knowledge and talent; we also wanted through these awards to give an opportunity to emerging artists or revelation artists, those who every day work to create and achieve a successful career,” said Lili Paredes.
“That is why we seek to contribute and generate support in their careers, so they can show a little more and the world recognizes their talent through our platform” added the director of Latin Plug Dominican Republic.
The winners of this ceremony were: : Leo RD as “Best Music Producer of the Year”, Mariposa Dj “Best Dj of the Year”, Anderson Humor “Best Comedian of the Year”, Carlos Durán “Best Content Creator of the Year”, Nashla Bogaert – “Best Latin Plug Actress of the Year”, Bulin 47 “Best Latin Plug Male Artist of the Year”, La Ross María “Best Latin Plug Female Artist of the Year” “Best Music Artist of the Year” and Chelsy Bautista as “Best New Artist of the Year”.
In addition, special recognition was given to Santiago Matías (Alofoke Music) for his contribution to urban music, Zumaya Cordero, film director who received a philanthropic award for her contributions and development of Dominican Cinema and David Kada, for his career in the salsa genre.

The awards ceremony was held at El Templo Lounge and had the collaboration of OB1Entertainment and had the presence of personalities and special guests, complying with all biosecurity protocols by Covid-19.
