The newly elected Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2021, Andreina Martinez, was stripped of her title after it was revealed that she tested positive for covid-19, this was announced by the organization led by the controversial coach Magali Febles.
In the midst of all the scandal, it was announced that the First Finalist of the pageant, the representative of Azua, Debbie Aflalo, will be in charge of raising the name of her land in order to be able to “fulfill the obligations as Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2021”.
The controversy was not long in coming and many claim that there is a black hand behind all this, since the information was disseminated through a statement published on social networks when there are still more than two weeks to go before the start of the universal contest from the Holy Land.
It is worth noting that the original queen, Andreína Martínez was chosen last November 7 to represent the country, winning with the band of the Dominican community living in the United States, but she was not one of the favorites and on the final night many did not understand how she was the winner, so her withdrawal from the contest could mean something else.
