The fashion show that will take place on Wednesday, August 31 at 6:30 pm, has as its main objective to promote blood donation.
The young entrepreneur, communicator and television producer Lorenny Solano, will present the collection “A+”, in the thirteenth edition of the Dominican Republic Fashion Week, this time focused on raising awareness about the importance of blood donation and blood products.
Under her brand Lorenny Solano by Julia Ortega, Lorenny has created with her mother a collection for the modern, elegant and glamorous executive woman, who plays a leading role in each of the stages of her life.
The name of the collection, “A+” is for one of the classifications of blood, central theme of the parade that has as its main objective to motivate people to donate blood voluntarily and recurrently to ensure that our country has quality blood, on time and free when needed.
A+ is also the positive attitude of an enterprising woman, who fights every day to improve her environment and who knows what she wants.
During the prestigious event in which Santo Domingo will become a fashion destination and which will be held from August 30 to September 4 at the Epic Center of the JW Marriot Hotel located in Blue Mall, Lorenny Solano promises to offer a spectacular fashion show full of surprises that will leave everyone extremely pleased.
“This collection will highlight the nobility through color, the integration of textures and the meticulousness of the cuts, enhancing the image of the Dominican woman, maximizing the effect of glamor,” says Lorenny about the pieces that will be part of this collection that will be presented on Wednesday, August 31 at 6:30 pm.
As in previous collections of the firm Lorenny Solano by Julia Ortega, “A+” also bets on sustainable fashion, as it consists of reusable pieces, created with more durable materials for less environmental impact, and most importantly, with the seal “Made in the DR”, Dominican hands that represent a great contribution to the country’s economy.
Organza, Georgette and Crepe, will be the main textures of each piece presented in this collection, which will be available from the parade through the website www.lorennysolano.com or in Julia Ortega Atelier located in the street Luis Desangles Sibilly # 7, Evaristo Morales, Santo Domingo, D.N.
As in each of her projects, Lorenny Solano has the backing of important brands that support her such as: Pernod Ricard Dominicana through its brands Chivas Regal, Beefeater and The Glenlivet, Jardín Constanza, JP Chenet and Grabo Estilo, among others.
Lorenny Solano is the director of the LASO Foundation, a non-profit institution that handles various issues such as animal rescue and that in 2021 created the Blood Donors Network of the Dominican Republic, which has been carrying out a constant campaign to promote and motivate blood donation, and whose purpose is to organize the blood donation system in the country, granting donors special benefits and privileged treatment in all related institutions.
