Once again, the Occidental Caribe Hotel becomes the official venue for 23 models from different countries to compete for the crown to be the next queen of Miss Latin America 2022.
In this 36th edition of the pageant, countries from South America, Central America, North America and the Caribbean, as well as Europe, will participate, giving young Latinas the opportunity to grow, share their voices and be recognized for their achievements.
Organización Miss Latin America, Inc. is the company in charge of the annual production of the international Miss Latin America of the World pageant. The pageant was created with the purpose of highlighting the Latin culture along with the intellectual and professional merits of Latin women, while promoting sisterhood and tourism among nations.
Since its inception, this Organization and its President-Founder have received recognition and awards from governments and multinational companies for the laudable objectives they have promoted with their work for decades.
Miss Latin America of the World has toured the stages of North, Central and South America with its annual productions and official visits by its headliners, and in the hotel complex in the Dominican Republic belonging to Barceló Hotel Group has been held since 2019.
The Dominican Republic has been awarded three carnations in the years 1985, 1986 and 2002. Last year 2021 the winner was Yosdany Navarro from Venezuela.

Miss Latin America Queen of the World 202i Yosdani Navarro, Venezuela.
Yosdany Argelis Navarro Silva is the current Miss Latin America of the World 2021. Born in Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela, she is a third semester student of Bioanalysis at the Universidad del Oriente. However, her main professional activity in development is her work as a television entertainer. Being one of the main figures in the conduction of TVes Venezuela, she is in charge of the morning magazine of this signal and is the main anchor of the health program Cita Con Los Doctores, with which she hopes to reach internationalization.
Member of Rotary International in Venezuela and spokesperson for the Fundamar Foundation for the protection of underwater heritage, she is committed to society and the environment. She is currently working with her international degree, building issues of interest and scheduling visits to those who need it most. One of her campaigns she is developing is free public speaking workshops for low-income children.
His desire is to travel the Latin community in the world and to be able to provide support and knowledge, initiating significant activities in his country; and, during this year, to expand those horizons to the whole world.
