Hollywood stars arrive in the Dominican Republic for filming of a movie

The Dominican Republic continues to attract the attention of Hollywood stars for filming their movies. A few days ago Jennifer Lopez, Mark Walbergh and Vin Diesel were in the country, heading film projects, and now it is reported that Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe, three of the most sought-after actors in American cinema are in the country.

According to several digital media, the celebrities arrived last Saturday to the Dominican Republic through La Romana Airport, on different flights, and are already staying at Casa De Campo.

According to what was reported, the actors are in the country to join the filming of the romantic comedy “Lost City of D”, under the direction of Adam and Aaron Nee, with a budget to be executed in the country of 74 million dollars (RD$4,294,000,000).

The filming of this type of project in the country is covered by Article 39 of the Law for the Promotion of the Film Industry in the DR.

“Lost City of D” will also feature the participation of actresses Patti Harrison and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

According to information provided by the Directorate General of Cinema, the film will be shot in Samaná, Santo Domingo and at Pinewood Studios, located in Juan Dolio.

The Dominican Republic has become an attraction for actors and actresses from the United States and other countries, who have decided to shoot films in this country, and has become one of the main destinations for filmmakers and producers of the Hollywood industry, contributing to the development of the film industry.

The American press has advanced that “Lost City of D” is a romantic adventure comedy and will be released next year.
