Fernandez highlighted the “interest” in working with the Dominican Republic in the exploitation of Vaca Muerta

President Alberto Fernández highlighted this Wednesday the “interest” of the Argentine Government in “the Dominican Republic’s national energy company working with YPF in the exploitation of Vaca Muerta”, so as to be able to “undertake joint projects”, in a joint statement he made with the head of state of that country, Luis Abinader Corona, at the Casa de Gobierno.

“We talked about the interest of the national energy company of the Dominican Republic to work with YPF in the exploitation of Vaca Muerta”, said the Argentine President in the act developed in the White Room of Casa Rosada, in the framework of a joint declaration he made with his counterpart of that country at the end of the signing of agreements between both States.

In this sense, Fernández said: “I told him that we are pleased to receive them and to be able to undertake joint projects”, and stated that “Vaca Muerta still has a lot to develop and there are opportunities for us to work together”.
