The Ministry of Culture obtained a 100% rating in the Evaluation of Transparency Portals, corresponding to last February, according to the General Directorate of Ethics and Government Integrity in its latest report.
The Minister of Culture, Carmen Heredia, valued in a press release the evaluation as a sample of the neatness that characterizes the work philosophy that has been implemented in the ministry, and congratulated all the collaborators of the institution for the achievement.
“In these times of so much uncertainty and questioning, the concept of transparency is of utmost importance to us; it means that we act facing the sun and with honesty,” Heredia said.
With these measurements, the Dominican government seeks to facilitate the delivery and provision of services to citizens, based on the remodeling and simplification of procedures, making them faster, simpler and more efficient, in addition to improving the efficiency of public sector entities.
The official assured that this qualification confirms the commitment of the Ministry of Culture with good practices in public administration, and compliance with the guidelines of Ethics and Government Integrity.
The results were revealed as part of an evaluation conducted through the Single Portal for Requests for Access to Public Information (SAIP), under Resolution 01-2018 on standardization policies for transparency subportals.
