This activity is done in order to continue promoting the quality of what the Dominican Republic produces and the need to continue creating awareness in the Colombian consumer of our rum and tobacco. These statements were made by the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic in Colombia, Mr. Julio Cordero.
The central words of the event were in charge of the ambassador, His Excellency Julio Ramón Cordero Espaillat and the portrait of the master Johnny Ventura, in charge of the outstanding Colombian radio and television presenter William Vinasco.
The event was attended by Colombian businessmen, importers of liquors and cigars, owners of Cigar Lounges, political and governmental personalities.
Also present were tobacco artisan, Luchy Sosa, under the direction of master blender, Cándido Rosario, and Freddy de La Rosa, an entrepreneur in the world of tobacco, who were invited to Colombia by the Dominican embassy to exhibit and teach the art of enjoying and smoking cigars.
