Opened in 2013, Casa de Arte is the newest cultural center on the North Coast. It also serves as a museum and focal point for educational arts and crafts. Located in the heart of the seaside resort of Sosúa, it alternates between art and sculpture exhibitions and conventions and hosts other events monthly. The Casa de Arte also sponsors a fantastic art school for underprivileged children and teenagers in the area, offering classes in jewelry making, painting and classical dance, among others.
