The Dominican Republic’s largest producer of traditionally made rum since 1888. Brugal rum is aged on site in nearly 200,000 American white oak barrels at the distillery in the city of Puerto Plata. Tours are offered to learn about the making of this popular brand and end with a tasting. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase premium rums on site at a good price.
