The agencies that govern commercial aviation in the Dominican Republic, seek to turn the country into the main destination for private aviation tourism, creating at the same time, the new protocol for domestic air operations in the national territory.
The Dominican Civil Aviation Institute (IDAC), the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) and the Airport Department understand that the Dominican Republic has all the necessary conditions for the country to receive between 45 to 50 private tourist flights each year.
“With our projects and work that we jointly develop, we intend to make our Dominican Republic the main Caribbean nation that annually receives the largest number of private tourist flights, as well as air excursions from different destinations”.
