Kim Kardashian defined the Dominican Republic as one of her favorite places in the world.
“We’re back to one of my favorite places in the world, Dominican Republic!” she wrote on her Twitter account, after announcing that she posed for the 2022 cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine.

It was in January of this year when she traveled to Quisqueya, and as she explained, “it’s been very hard to keep it a secret.”
Kim Kardashian’s photographs were taken at the Ojos Indígenas Ecological Reserve, in Punta Cana, for the cover of the referred magazine, which she shares with singers Ciara and Yumi Nu, also model Maye Musk.
Dominican Republic, Barbados, Belize and Montenegro were the settings for this edition, which highlights the diversity of the models.
For the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star, being part of this 2022 edition “is a great honor and a dream”.
Although she has been the queen of carpets at major awards shows and top galas, as well as in renowned magazines, this is her first time on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
Is it her first time in the DR?
This is not the first time that American businesswoman Kim Kardashian chooses the Dominican Republic as her vacation destination, although this time it was for work, she has already been seen in the country with her children in Punta Cana, specifically in Ojos Indígenas.
She was also with her ex-partner Kanye West in Quisqueya. According to People magazine, they were vacationing in the Dominican Republic, away from the cameras, in order to solve the marital problems they had at the time, before their definitive breakup.
