Las Marías, a heavenly spring in Neyba

At the entrance of Neyba, head municipality, is the Las Marías spa, a beautiful and magical spring of fresh and crystalline waters, which welcomes visitors and at the same time bids them farewell, wishing them a prompt return.

Neyba, Bahoruco – Neyba is a municipality in the Bahoruco province, founded on July 4, 1943 by Law No. 1529 during the government of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo. Bahoruco province, located in the southwest of the Dominican Republic, is known for its grapes in an environment of great natural beauty, with mountains, rivers and an exuberant flora and fauna.

With a length of about 624 square meters in the shape of a large oval natural pool, surrounded by lush green trees, the Las Marías spa is on the edge of the road that gives access and exit to the city of Neyba, where hundreds of local citizens come, as well as from different parts of the country, looking for a dip in the cool waters of this magnificent place given by Mother Nature for the enjoyment of man.
