Following Sun Country Airlines’ announcement to add seasonal nonstop service between Milwaukee (Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport) to the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana Airport), Grant Whitney, the airline’s senior vice president and chief revenue officer, said, “Milwaukee travelers will love Punta Cana and Montego Bay.”
“We’re excited to offer more winter service to Milwaukee,” he added.
The new nonstop flights between MKE and Punta Cana will run from Dec. 26 through April 7. The flights will initially operate twice a week and will increase to four times a week beginning January 23.
Brian Dranzik, director of Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, said, “Jamaica and the Dominican Republic are popular winter destinations for Milwaukee-based travelers, and we are pleased that Sun Country will offer additional low-fare options to these warm-weather family destinations.
