Within the framework of the inter-institutional cooperation agreement between the Cap Cana Foundation and Fodearte, a basic pottery training workshop was held for women with the desire to improve their lives in communities near the city of Cap Cana.
The workshop produced more than 150 pieces of clay.
The presentation of certificates was made by the director of the Cap Cana Foundation, Blanca Mariñez and by the director of Fodearte, Ramón Guillén.
The Cap Cana Foundation actively encourages these initiatives in order to promote sustainable development and the promotion of local talent. The commitment is further strengthened by focusing on the communities it supports, with special attention to women heads of households.
The workshop not only provided the participants with practical pottery skills, but also offered them an invaluable opportunity to grow professionally.
