The Director of Community Relations of the Bavaro International Airport (AIB) in the Dominican Republic, Victor Dumet, stated that AIB is sponsoring various Dominican activities in this city.
He expressed that AIB’s role with the community in the Big Apple is one of brotherhood, since we have been working together since last year, and today we are already planning not only for this week, but also for next year.
“What are we going to do, what are we going to impact in a positive way for the Dominican community with this Gastronomic Fair, which is a conviviality of the Dominicans in Upper Manhattan”.
He replied, “AIB’s direct participation is as an official sponsor of the different activities carried out by the “Dominican Chamber of Commerce USA”, directed by Elida Almonte.
We are contributing, not only with the gala dinner this Thursday, but also with the assembly of the Gastronomic Fair to be held on the 25th and 26th (Saturday and Sunday) at Highbridge Park, located on Amsterdam Avenue and 172nd Street in Upper Manhattan; also, with everything that is being done in this week “Sabor Dominicano 2022.

Among the activities that AIB has been supporting are the following: The cocktail to the press last Monday at the restaurant “Casa del Mar”, in The Bronx.
“Tobacco and Run Taste”, an exhibition of Dominican cigars, rum and liquors, in the patio of the restaurant “Caridad”, located at 135 W. Kingsbridge Rd, in the Bronx.
The Business Table (products and tourism), at the 809 restaurant, located at 112 Dyckman St., in Upper Manhattan.
Friday 24th, a “Dominican Taste Brunch- VIP Encounter”, at the “Casa del Mar” restaurant, located at 1779 Webster Ave. and the Cross Bronx Expressway, in the Bronx, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm.
