President Luis Abinader heads these days the follow-up meeting of the Citizen Security Plan to continue guaranteeing the well-being of Dominicans.
The meeting began at 10:50 am, in the Officers’ Club Hall of the National Police Palace, where they continue to evaluate the tasks assigned, achievements obtained and measures to continue strengthening security in the country.
On this occasion, the elected deputies, Carlos Sánchez, Maribel Almanzar and José Caraballo, from the National District; Ignacio Aracena, Sandro Sánchez and Miguel Bogaert, from Santo Domingo Oeste, together with the national deputy, Jorge Zorrilla González, are participating in the meeting.
In the company of the Head of State are the Minister of the Presidency, Joel Santos, and the Minister of Interior and Police, Jesús Vásquez Martínez; the director of the National Police, Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta; the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa; the Commander General of the Army, Major General Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre; the Commander General of the Air Force, Major General Carlos Ramón Febrillet Rodríguez, and the Commander General of the Dominican Navy, Vice Admiral Agustín Alberto Morillo Rodríguez.
Also, the president of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), vice admiral José Manuel Cabrera Ulloa; the head of the General Directorate of Transit Security and Land Transportation (Digesett), general Francisco Osoria de la Cruz; the director of the Tourism Police (Politur), General Minoru Matsunaga; the deputy director of the National Police, General Juan Hilario Guzmán Badía; the advisor to the Executive Branch, John Huvane de Giuliani, and the director of Internal Affairs of the National Police, General Ramón Ramírez.
Also present were the director of the National Emergency and Security Attention System 9-1-1 and INTRANT, Colonel Randolfo Rijo Gómez; of the School Police, Colonel Martín Miguel Tapia Sánchez; of Penitentiary Centers, Roberto Hernández Basilio, and the executive commissioner for Police Reform, Luis Ernesto García Hernández.
The meeting was also attended by Yeni Berenice Reynoso, deputy prosecutor and head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and a commission of prosecutors composed of Rosalba Ramos of the National District, Osvaldo Bonilla of Santiago, Fadulia Rosa of San Cristóbal, Aura Luz García of La Vega, Aura Luz García of La Vega and Fadulia Rosa of San Cristóbal.
