Late in the afternoon, President Luis Abinader went to this province and inaugurated the 8 kilometer renovation of Pedro A. Rivera Avenue and the Plaza de los Presidentes Veganos.
Mayor Kelvin Cruz said that the avenue and the plaza are a dream come true. He pointed out that the governor has always been attentive to the needs of La Vega.
Architect Joel Martínez pointed out that this is an emblematic work, which was carried out in only 11 months. He also thanked the president for his support to the municipality.
The work consists of a central island, landscaping, 400 lamps with LED lighting, 13,000 linear meters of curbs and new signage.
Plaza de Presidentes
The new plaza will be a public space that pays homage to former presidents Antonio Guzmán and Juan Bosch, both of whom have a bust in this place.

Also, the director of School Infrastructure of the Ministry of Education, Fernando Taveras and the governor of Monseñor Nouel province, Adela Mercedes Tejada Gil de Rosario.
