President Luis Abinader will lead several inaugurations this weekend in the provinces of La Vega, Distrito Nacional and Santo Domingo Este.
The works to be inaugurated by the president include a school, a multi-purpose building, JAC offices, a sports roofing, the first stage of 25 kilometers of asphalt in La Caleta, reconstruction of the entrance to Brisas de Caucedo and apartments will also be delivered in San Luis.
In addition, the president will lead the inauguration of the Expo-Vega Real 2024 Multisectorial Fair, visit the Biovega Laboratories and will give the first inauguration of the Instituto Policial de Educación Superior (IPES) in the National District.
Saturday 3 – La Vega
The President’s agenda begins on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the inauguration of the Expo-Vega Real 2024 Multisectorial Fair in La Vega.
Later, the head of state will lead the inauguration of the Multipurpose Park Hostos and will visit the Biovega Laboratories.
The President will finish Saturday’s agenda in La Vega with the inauguration of the Escuela Básica Espejo Arenoso.
Sunday 4 – National District
The agenda of the head of state will begin this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. with the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Police Institute of Higher Education (IPES).
Later, the president will lead the inauguration of the remodeling of the 4-story building for the offices of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC).
The president will also travel to the populous sector of Cristo Rey, where he will preside over the inauguration of a roofing project.
Santo Domingo East
The governor’s tour continues on Sunday afternoon with the delivery of apartments of the Mi Vivienda Project in San Luis, headed by the Minister of Housing and Buildings, Carlos Bonilla.
Sunday’s agenda of the president culminates with the inauguration of the first stage of 25 kilometers of asphalting in La Caleta and the announcement of the inauguration of the reconstruction of the entrance of Brisas de Caucedo, carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC).
