Abinader to travel this Friday to Switzerland for the Summit on Peace in Ukraine

President Luis Abinader will travel this Friday to Switzerland to participate in the Summit on Peace in Ukraine. This will be held over the weekend, with the attendance of heads of state and government, as well as representatives of more than 90 countries.

The Dominican leader is scheduled to leave in the afternoon for Zurich, from where he will travel to Lucerne, where the meeting will be held.

President Abinader will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez; the person in charge of the General Secretariat of the President’s Cabinet, Eilyn Beltrán; the head of the Presidential Security Corps, Major General Jimmy Arias, and the President’s Press Director, Daniel García Archibald.

The summit, to be held on 15 and 16 June, will include working sessions on important issues such as Food Security.

The Dominican President will be back on Sunday, in the evening hours.
