President Luis Abinader confirmed this Thursday that the Dominican government has no restrictions planned for the Christmas holidays, or later, in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
“The Health Cabinet has no restrictions planned for December or later,” said the head of state at a press conference on the safety and immunogenicity of the application of a booster dose in the Dominican Republic, held at the National Palace.
Yesterday, Vice President Raquel Peña referred to the subject and indicated that the only measure to be taken before the festivities is the vaccination against COVID-19.
She assured that the Dominican Republic is prepared from the beginning of the appearance of the new variant, as it has been done from the beginning, while stressing the importance of remaining vigilant to any situation that may arise in order to have the appropriate response and protect the citizenship.
