President Luis Abinader will be carrying out an extensive work agenda from this Friday until Sunday in the Cibao region, which includes the first test run of the Santiago Monorail.
The president will travel to Duarte and Santiago provinces to continue his program of inaugurations of housing projects, highways, a National Army fortress, a detachment, the Fine Arts Center, provision of drinking water lines and a Center for the Integral Development of Women (CEDI-Mujer).
Friday 9, San Francisco de Macorís
The President will begin his work agenda this Friday, August 9, at 11:00 am, with the inauguration of the National Army Fortress, San Francisco de Macoris.
Later, he will inaugurate the Catholic church in the La Espínola neighborhood and the police station in the Vista del Valle sector.
Later, he will lead the inauguration and delivery of the first stage of the 86 apartments of the Vista del Valle neighborhood, San Francisco de Macoris.
Afterwards, President Abinader will move to the province of Santiago, where he will inaugurate the Juan Vera-La Joyita highway, and then, he will preside over the graduation of the Ciudad Santa María Foundation UASD Campus, La Barranquita.
The head of state will conclude Friday’s agenda with his participation in the meeting with the commission of Compromiso Santiago.
Saturday, 10 August, Santiago
On Saturday, President Abinader will begin his work day at 11:00 a.m. to inaugurate the Fine Arts Center of the province of Santiago.
He will continue with the inauguration of the provision of drinking water lines to 18 neighborhoods of West Santiago, and then, the Center for the Integral Development of Women (CEDI-Mujer), in the La Otra Banda sector.
Afterwards, the President will lead the inauguration and delivery of 250 apartments to the displaced people of the Gurabo Gorge, in Hato del Yaque. Afterwards, he will complete an agenda of private activities.
Sunday, August 11
On Sunday, at 11:00 am, President Abinader will give continuity to his work program with the act of the first test run of the Santiago Monorail.
