Cap Cana Destination City will be present at FITUR 2022

Cap Cana Destination City reported that it will once again be present at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), with an important participation in the Dominican Republic’s stand in support of the country, which this year is a strategic partner of this important event.

In a press release, the destination city said it is focused on attracting new investments in real estate, hotels and various attractions in order to increase the complementary offer to what already exists in the Dominican Republic today.

He recalled that this has been an important year for Cap Cana, since it has had an exponential growth boom as a city, and has recently made two major investments.

One of these, the start of construction of what will be one of the largest amusement parks in the Caribbean with Spanish and Dominican investment, which will be called El Dorado Water Park, as well as the welcome to the U.S. hotel Margaritaville By Karisma with its recent official inauguration.

The entity expressed its enthusiasm with the backing and support it has received for the materialization of the activities to be developed during these days during the fair, and informed that it will exhaust an important work agenda that includes an event at the IFEMA Convention Center where important announcements will be made.

Cap Cana is a destination city located in the heart of the Caribbean on the east coast of the Dominican Republic and currently has more than 6,000 residential rooms and more than 4,000 hotel and residential rooms under construction.

It has a Master Plan one hundred percent conceptualized in adherence to sustainable development, with more than 100 million square meters and a multi-decade projection of some 100 thousand rooms.

Renowned international hotel brands are present in the destination, among them:
Eden Roc at Cap Cana, which stands out for being the only Relais & Chateaux in the Dominican Republic; AM Resorts with its Secrets hotel; Playa, Hotels & Resorts with the Sanctuary, Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara hotels; Palladium Group with the TRS hotel; Karisma, which operates the Margaritaville Island Reserve at Cap Cana; and TUI Blue. In addition, the St. Regis Resort and Residences by Marriot is currently under construction.
