With an investment of millions of dollars, the first Planet Hollywood Hotel to operate in the Dominican Republic will be built on the Bergantín beach of this Puerto Plata destination.

He said that thanks to financing from BanReservas, the construction of the Planet Hollywood Hotel will begin in the Punta Bergantín project, which is the first of several hotels to be built in the tourist center of Puerto Plata.
It was learned that starting next February, RD$150 million will be destined to finance this and other tourism projects, with the firm and determined objective of obtaining the longed-for relaunching of Puerto Plata.
This announcement was made in the presence of the Minister of Tourism, David Collado and the general administrator of BanReservas, Samuel Pereyra, who pointed out that the relaunching of Puerto Plata as hotel tourism begins to become a reality with the Punta Bergantín project.
Both government officials emphasized that President Luis Abinader and the Tourism Cabinet have been very involved in the development of the Punta Bergantín tourism, real estate and commercial project, which will be very ambitious.
