Dominican Republic announced the elimination of restrictions for all tourists

Visitors will no longer be required to present their vaccination card or PCR test.

The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) of the Dominican Republic announced the elimination of all restrictions imposed on international tourists due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors will no longer be required to provide proof of vaccination or PCR testing for COVID-19 upon arrival.

It is important to mention that the previously mentioned measures were still in place for some groups of countries, such as Brazil, Spain and the United Kingdom. Likewise, the CAB informed that it will no longer be mandatory for tourists to wear masks or maintain physical distance inside Dominican airports.

Finally, random testing for COVID-19 will no longer be carried out. With the elimination of these restrictions, the Dominican Republic seeks to encourage the arrival of tourists to the region, thus promoting the reactivation of the sector.
