The Dominican delegation is represented by the Ministry of Tourism with its project “Surf and Wind City Cabarete”.
The Dominican Republic, through the Office of Tourism Promotion (OPT) in Orlando, Florida, participated in Surf Expo, the main trade fair held in the United States on water sports and beach lifestyle.
With its participation, the Ministry of Tourism seeks to attract the largest volume of water sports tourists, professional competitors and investors that attend this fair.
Cabarete, located in the province of Puerto Plata, is the Caribbean capital for wave and wind sports, with a scenario of optimal conditions for the practice of surfing, kite surfing and wind surfing, in addition to a relaxed, healthy and sporty lifestyle.
Retail exhibitors and professionals related to this industry participate in the fair and the Surf Expo 2023 edition is being held from January 4-6, 2023, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The Dominican delegation is represented by the Ministry of Tourism with its “Surf and Wind City Cabarete” project, and the Word Surf League, Masters Surf Meeting, Master of the Ocean and Caribbean Surf Connection events, all scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
