Dominican Republic, soon in Formula 1 ?

Cariben Consulting and its President Jean Léonard Cottone announced Benjamin Breny was coming back to the country

A brief return in Belgium, where he currently lives, allowed Benjamin Breny to resume his training which of course is necessary to maintain its status as a driver in Formula 3 for the 2012 season.

The Cariben Consulting agency that manages the sponsorship and the communication of the young pilot in Dominican Republic, through its President Jean Léonard Cottone, announced that Benjamin Breny was coming back to the country, after he spent a month abroad.

In late February, the young Dominican had a promising meeting with the Sports Minister Felipe Payano, who was accompanied by Omar Fernandez, son of President Franklin Rodriguez, Minister of Youth, and Adriano Abreu Sued, Deputy Minister of a Media Tour that met all the expectations.

The young Formula 3 pilot, who is the only representative of the Dominican identity and flag on the European circuit, will be back to DR d in order to concretize the support he has been receiving and to sign sponsorship agreements.

He’s currently on the final straight before the tests scheduled for early April and before the first European Championship races that will take place on April 27th and 29th.

This materialization of the financial support to the pilot and his team from the Dominican government and local businesses will undoubtedly be helpful for the international projection of the Dominican Republic through these car races, with positive consequences.

It will also be a sign of economic health for the country, and represent a positive spirit that will encourage young Dominicans talents in the world to fight for their dreams, help the development of financial markets, investment and tourism luxury in the Dominican Republic.

As in Mexico with Perez and in Venezuela, with Maldonado, Benjamin represents a huge opportunity, a real godsend, unimaginable a few weeks ago, and the Dominican Republic cannot miss this opportunity.

All conditions are there for Benjamin to achieve his dream: The promising performances of the pilot, the professionalism and contacts of his Manager Henri Luzet, the support of his piloting Coach Roberto Moreno (former Formula 1 driver and test driver for Ayrton Senna), and his Engineer Philippe Gautheron, who is the only man to have taken 4 drivers to Formula 1 in 3 (Checo Pérez, Vitaly Petrov, Charles Pic et Guido Van der Garde).

As it was the case in other countries, the world of F1 and its president Bernie Ecclestone now focus on the future and power of the Dominican Republic, which must be proud to support his young pilot in this area dominated by great personalities.

Henry Krausz, representative of the International Automobile Federation in the Dominican Republic, especially in Europe, comes back this week with the Dominican Automobile License of Breny Benjamin to present it to the authorities and the national press.
