Once again, the Dominican Republic exhibited at EAA Airventure, in Oshkosh, United States, the progress made during the government of President Luis Abinader in favor of the development of non-commercial private aviation.
For a week, the Airport Department (DA), in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and the agencies of the airport and aeronautical sector, showed hundreds of pilots, aviation enthusiasts and visitors in general, all the facilities and benefits that the country has to receive this type of aviation.
Victor Pichardo, executive director of the DA, recalled the importance and significance of the Protocol for Non-Commercial Private Aviation, implemented by Decree 259-23.
“It is through this decree and the active promotion of the country in these fairs, which have allowed us to receive more and more Fly In every year, an activity that has a positive impact on tourism and therefore on the national economy,” said Pichardo.
EAA Airventure is the largest general and experimental aviation fair in the United States and has been held for 71 years. The country has been participating in the same since 2009.
