CONNECT has been held for more than 15 years and is a leading event in Europe and other markets. Thanks to the efforts of the country’s airports and the Ministry of Tourism, this forum will move for the first time to the American continent, organizing an event for 350 guests that will serve as a unique opportunity to promote the Dominican Republic within the international aviation ecosystem.

During May 30, May 31 and June 1, 2023, aviation decision-makers will participate in a series of seminars with high-level speakers, one-on-one meetings and a program of featured evening events.

“It is a pleasure to welcome CONNECT New World to the Dominican Republic,” said Minister of Tourism David Collado. “With the most advanced transportation system in the Caribbean, the largest supply of oceanfront and city rooms and venues, an electric cultural scene and a climate as warm as its people: the Dominican Republic is the ideal workplace.”

Karin Butot, CEO of The Airport Agency said: “Recognized as the best tourist destination in the region, the Dominican Republic will be the perfect place to allow the air services community to continue conversations that will be instrumental in defining the future connectivity of the region. CONNECT New World 2023 will provide a unique opportunity for the country to showcase important infrastructure developments and its successful tourism strategy to key stakeholders in the region.”

“Dominican airports play a unique role in the regional aviation network and have long served as economic engines and places of opportunity for our country,” said Mónika Infante, CEO of AERODOM. “We are excited to welcome airline executives, airports, tour operators and tourism authorities to explore new air routes; as well as develop existing ones.”

AraJet Airlines is supporting the event as the official airline. CONNECT New World will take place from May 30 to June 1 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.RD Sede de Connect
