Empresa de Transmisión Eléctrica Dominicana (ETED) successfully concluded its certification process for the implementation of electronic invoicing, in strict compliance with Law No. 32-23 of Electronic Invoicing of the Dominican Republic, in order to facilitate the processes when making requests.
ETED officially implemented the electronic invoicing system, marking a significant milestone in the modernization of its internal processes. This upgrade not only strengthens ETED’s operational efficiency, but also promotes transparency and improves productivity in its operations, directly benefiting the country’s tax administration.
Electronic invoicing is defined as the document issued, validated and stored electronically, equating its validity and functions to traditional paper invoices. This change not only simplifies the processes for issuers and receivers, but also optimizes the management of third parties involved in commercial transactions.
Among the benefits of this process are: facilitation of tax compliance; standardization of relations between companies; reduction of costs associated with paper, printing and storage; increase in the validity of the tax credit. In addition, the minimization of document loss and the optimization of efficiency and automation of administrative processes.
The implementation of Law No. 32-23 on Electronic Invoicing of the Dominican Republic is aligned with the purpose of modernizing and streamlining the invoicing processes in the country, promoting comprehensive automation in the issuance, receipt and storage of invoices.
ETED reaffirms its commitment to operational excellence and regulatory compliance, thus ensuring a more efficient and transparent service for its customers and collaborators.
