Empresa de Transmisión Eléctrica Dominicana (ETED) informed that this Saturday, June 15, it will work on the 69 kV Hainamosa-Tamarindo line, with the purpose of interconnecting and putting into service the Maranatha photovoltaic solar park, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This solar park has a capacity of 10 MW and promises 15.9 million watts per hour per year. It will supply electricity to more than 6,000 homes in the area of Santo Domingo East.
As a result of this work, the communities of Tamarindo and Kilómetro 24, belonging to the municipality of Santo Domingo Este, will be temporarily without electricity service, while the community of Guerra, belonging to Greater Santo Domingo, will be affected by the maintenance period.
Also, temporarily, the following companies will be affected: Acueducto Oriental, San Isidro Air Base and Grupo Ramos Mella, and for the maintenance period, Zona Franca Gildan and Mata de Palma will be affected.
These works are part of the company’s commitment to optimize the quality of the infrastructure to provide a permanent, efficient and stable service to the citizens.
