Following up on the support program promoted by the Government through the different institutions of the State, the Vice Minister of Administration and Finance of MAPRE, Igor Rodríguez Durán, visited this Friday the province of Puerto Plata, to deliver funds for DR 16,418,497.78, for various works.
For the construction of the administrative offices of the Union of Truckers and Van Drivers of Puerto Plata, DR 8 million were delivered, while for the remodeling of the San Marcos Evangelista Parish, the contribution was of DR 5,156,537.51, in addition to DR 3,261,960.27 for the purchase of 5 industrial fans to be installed in the multipurpose centers of the municipalities of Sosúa, Montellano, Imbert, Luperón and Villa Isabela.
Rodríguez said that there are multiple efforts made by the administration of President Luis Abinader to support institutions in order to achieve a better quality of life for citizens, an example is that, from the Administrative Ministry of the Presidency, coordinated by the minister, José Ignacio Paliza, in three years of management hundreds of entities, regardless of party color or religious beliefs, have received support, so today the good administration is felt.
The father of the San Marcos Evangelista Parish, Carlos Miguel Almonte, blessed the management that President Luis Abinader has been carrying out, he highlighted all the gesture that Minister José Ignacio Paliza has had in the face of the numerous requests, he has always said yes and that makes him a very special son for this province.
For his part, the president of the Union of Truckers and Van Drivers of Puerto Plata, Juan Carlos Núñez, thanked on behalf of the members of the institution and said that they are committed to this government, to support it in its development agenda that they are promoting throughout the country.
Present at the tour were the provincial governor, Claritza Rochtte; the senator, Ginette Bournigal; Diomedes Roque García (Roquelito), mayor of the municipality of San Felipe; Emil Durán and Johnny Medina, deputies of the Republic; Anulfo Pascual, deputy director of Customs; Vinicio Clase, provincial director of Sports and Recreation (MIDEREC), among other personalities.
