The 2024 version will be held in El Salvador from August 26th to 30th.
The telecommunications company, Huawei, announced registrations for the 2024 edition of its corporate social responsibility program “Seeds for the future” (Seeds for the future) for Latin America.
According to a press release, eight Dominican students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in group discussions, debates and round tables, fostering intercultural exchange with participants from other countries.
“Our flagship program “Seeds for the Future 2024″ reflects our commitment to innovation and the development of talent in technology,” highlighted Carolina Herrera, director of Communications for Huawei Central America and the Caribbean, who noted, “We provide a complete experience that includes advanced courses in key technologies and opportunities to interact with industry experts, empowering future ICT leaders.”
Applications are open until July 15, 2024 for university students, who are in their final year of studies or recent graduates, preferably with an interest in or from areas related to information technology and telecommunications, with a minimum GPA of 8.5, must also have a valid passport, be willing to participate in the Tech4good group project and the regional competition in August, and have an advanced level of English.
To apply, candidates must provide a curriculum vitae, a letter of motivation in English with a maximum length of 500 words and a video presentation entitled “My video for Seeds for the Future 2024”, with a maximum length of five minutes, reflecting their interest in contributing to the digital development of the country and their enthusiasm for learning about new technologies and ICT market trends.
Program
This program provides an annual opportunity for university students from all over the region to train in the most advanced technologies.
Huawei’s “Seeds for the Future” program has been held in Latin America and the Caribbean for 10 years and offers an experience to university students, combining advanced courses in key technologies such as 5G, 5.5G, cloud computing, renewable energy and artificial intelligence.
