The Instituto Dominicano de Prevención y Protección de Riesgos Laborales (Idoppril) opened a new customer service module at the Clínica Unión Médica in this province, bringing to 18 the number of such service centers installed during the first administration of President Luis Abinader.
“The new module represents for the affiliates proximity, brevity and more timely assistance in the various services they require, since, from now on, the affiliates of Santiago de los Caballeros and surrounding areas will have the convenience of processing their processes in this medical center, without having to move to the North Regional Office or the headquarters of the referred state entity”, said Dr. Fausto López Solís, executive director of the Idoppril.
Meanwhile, the director of the Northern Regional Office of Idoppril, Dr. Manuel Estévez, highlighted the importance of the strategic alliance between the institution he represents in the Cibao region and the Unión Médica del Norte.
“We are adding quality, proximity and dignity to our affiliates. Unión Médica is one of our main allies in the country, and our commitment to quality medical attention in favor of the workers allows us to affirm that Idoppril and Unión Médica del Norte are part of the pride of this city”, added Estévez.
The event was attended by the governor of Santiago, Rosa Santos, who emphasized that decentralization is one of the public policies that President Luis Abinader has established at the national level.
“Bringing services closer to the citizens is important for the cities, it makes them grow and gives facilities to the people”, she emphasized, after pointing out the high potential of Idoppril for the benefit of its affiliates.
Meanwhile, the president of the Dominican Municipal League (LMD), Víctor D’Aza, highlighted the contribution made by the Idoppril, headed by Dr. López Solís, with the installation of these user service modules, affirming that actions like this correspond to the approach of President Abinader, that the Government is to generate public policies for the benefit of the people, in favor of increasing their quality of life.
In his opinion, “all this is summarized in this arduous and efficient work that Idoppril is doing, facilitating the services offered to the people”.
On his side, the mayor of Santiago de los Caballeros, José Ulises Rodríguez, was in charge of the words of greeting at the event. He took the opportunity to highlight the progress that the country has shown in the field of health tourism and the advances of his city in different areas.
The event was attended by the president of the Board of Directors of Clínica Unión Médica, Dr. Julián Sued; the director of the Regional Health Service (SRS) Norcentral, Bernardo Hilario Reyes; officials of Idoppril and of the aforementioned health care center, representatives of the municipality of Santiago de los Caballeros, among other special guests.
Dr. Fausto López Solís reaffirmed “the commitment to continue working with determination in favor of the working class of the Dominican Republic.”
