A 6 year-old boy and a woman who had stayed in the Dominican resort Punta Cana (east) together with the first two infected are the new cases of the AH1N1 virus, said Monday Chile’s Health Ministry.

According to the Public Health Ministry, Bautista Rojas Gómez, there is no case of Influenza A H1N1 in the country yet.

Monday, the Minister of Public Health, Santé Bautista Rojas Gómez admitted the virus was circulating in DR, but confirmed that no case were detected yet on national territory.

The Dominican Republic confirmed this wednesday the two first cases of AH1N1.
The Health Ministry,Bautista Rojas, said that the two patients are not in danger and informed they are two women, one from Santo Domingo and the other in Santiago.
