A 6 year-old boy and a woman who had stayed in the Dominican resort Punta Cana (east) together with the first two infected are the new cases of the AH1N1 virus, said Monday Chile’s Health Ministry.

According to the Public Health Ministry, Bautista Rojas Gómez, there is no case of Influenza A H1N1 in the country yet.

Today the cases of AH1N1 in Dominican Republic are 44. The 11 new cases were detected in the National District (4), the provinces of Peravia, La Altagracia and Santo Domingo (2 cases each) and La Romana (1).

Sixteen new cases of AH1N1 virus were confirmed today. It means that 60 persons are affected by the influenza in Dominican Republic, according to the informations of the Ministry of Public Health.
