The Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (Infotep), announced the celebration of its National Graduation of Technicians and Technical Teachers 2023, where more than 5,500 people will receive their degrees.
The graduation ceremony will be held this Tuesday, December 12, starting at 10 am, at the Virgilio Travieso Soto Sports Palace, in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.
The graduates who will receive a technical degree have completed all the training that completes a career, in a process that lasts from 9 months to more than a year.
The technical teacher training corresponds to the highest level of instruction that Infotep certifies. It allows graduates to receive the necessary training to perform middle management positions and develop training plans in the company or start their own business.
Acquiring their skills and abilities involves mastering all the fundamentals of a complete professional area, in a training period that lasts about two years.
On this occasion, which is a nationwide graduation, 31 master technicians and more than 5,550 technicians will receive their degrees.
Last year, graduations were held by region, specifically in Santo Domingo, Cibao and Sur.
The technical and professional training entity recommends taking preventive measures to those who travel on the roads surrounding the Olympic Center, due to the increase in traffic, which will occur with the arrival of the graduates and their families.
