Luis Emilio Velutini, a renowned entrepreneur in the luxury real estate business in the Dominican Republic, recently broke ground on the construction of the World Trade Center Santo Domingo, a project that will boost high-end and business tourism in the Dominican capital.

The Velutini Group’s project is located in the Blue Mall Santo Domingo plaza and, according to projections, will generate 17,000 jobs, inaugurate the first phase in 2023 and cover 131,000 square meters.

This initiative of Luis Emilio Velutini is evidence that now is the time to invest and develop projects in the Dominican Republic, which will foster a real investment climate in the nation when the pandemic passes.

The President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, congratulated Luis Emilio Velutini and his family for investing in the nation and creating quality jobs.

World Trade Center Santo Domingo, in addition to BlueMall Santo Domingo, JW Marriott Santo Domingo, will consist of two business towers: World Trade Center Santo Domingo 1 (28 levels) and World Trade Center Santo Domingo 2 (19 levels). Also, the aparthotel towers, called BlueMall Luxury Suites, will have 23 floors each, according to the description offered by Luis Emilio Velutini.

This construction, promoted by investor Luis Emilio Velutini, will generate 17 thousand jobs. The two towers will total 240 apartment suites and the project will have 2,500 parking spaces and a heliport.

Luis Emilio Velutini said that the project will not only promote investment, but will also be an attraction for business tourism, since companies from other continents could settle in the country, just as they have done in the 300 World Trade Centers in 100 countries.

Although the world was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, businessman Luis Emilio Velutini said that the commercial offices are almost entirely sold.

The building, in addition to the BlueMall expansion, will have two business towers under the WTC brand, two apartment-hotel towers with the names BlueMall Luxury Suites I and II.
