The Venezuelan Embassy in the Dominican Republic informed through its social networks that it received new passport cases from the Administrative Service of Migration, Identification and Foreigners (Saime).
The passports available to be picked up at the consular section of the Dominican Republic are those that were printed until June 16, 2022.
The Venezuelan Embassy in the Dominican Republic indicated that in its social networks and web page are published all the lists received through 20 suitcases.
Likewise, the information published in the Instagram account of the Embassy @embavedo stated that once the suitcases were received, the delivery of passports to Venezuelan nationals in the Dominican Republic began immediately.
The schedule for Venezuelan citizens to pick up their identity cards is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon.
To pick up their passport, Venezuelans must bring a photocopy of their identity card centered on a letter-sized sheet of paper.
On this same sheet of paper they must write the following information: Pouch number, full name, identity card number, contact telephone number, date of passport collection, signature of the user, receipt of payment of the consular fee delivered on the day they attended their data collection appointment.
The Venezuelan Embassy reminded the users who are not on these lists that they should wait for the next bag, “because their document was not sent in the one we have recently received”.
As an Important Note, the Venezuelan Embassy in the Dominican Republic pointed out that in order to collect the passports of Children and Adolescents, both parents must be present and bring original and copy of identity card or passport, as well as the birth document of the minor.
In case one of the parents is not present, the one attending must bring the respective authorization of the absent representative.
Finally, the communication of the Venezuelan Embassy reminds that the delivery of the identification document will be only to the holder of the same.
