New tourism project Caney Beach Home opens its doors

With an initial investment of US$1.5 million and an estimated budget of US$5.5 million, the Caney Beach Home project formally opened its doors to the public with a real estate and ecological tourism proposal from the coast of Matanzas, Bani, Peravia province, in the south of the Dominican Republic.

Caney Beach Home is an ideal place to explore hand in hand with adventure and mountain tourism, with an ecological and environmental framework bordered by the coasts of the Caribbean Sea, 40 minutes from the city of Santo Domingo, 1.5 hours from the International Airport of the Americas, and soon via the interconnection of the Circunvalación Avenue, which is advancing and is being built rapidly with the support of the Dominican government.

The ecotourism project has a unique panorama for the construction of 150 beach villas and residential establishments for rest and retreat outside the city, as well as glampins for camping-type stays.

In addition, a boutique hotel with a country design, indigenous style, which was conceived for those who like tranquility, meditation, the harmony of the breeze, the waves of the sea, the sand and the radiant tropical sun, according to architect Juan Tejeda, president of the Caney Executive Board.

During the launching of the beach club, Tejeda explained that they offer one of the most important tourist attractions Proyecto Caneyin the southern region, together with other resorts and hotels, engines and sources of employment for the Dominican Republic and the area.

The event was attended by the Vice Minister of Quality of Tourism Services, Roberto Henríquez, the Vice President of Institutional Relations and Projects of the Puntacana Group, Simón Suárez, the provincial governor Ángela Yadira Báez, the mayor of the municipality of Matanzas, Susi Pérez, among other civil and military authorities, and a group of tourism journalists from Santo Domingo.

Gustavo Terrero, vice-president of the Caney Executive Council, highlighted the importance of the gastronomy of the area, among other aspects related to services.

“The club will be at the height of international quality standards with the attention of a staff trained in hospitality and tourism, we will have the popular glampins, for summer camps all year round, equipment with comfortable beds, indoor bathrooms, air conditioners, executive refrigerators, outdoor jacuzzi and much more. All this with an exclusive view, turquoise color in front of the coast of Matanzas”, said the businessman, who also thanked all his family for their support and integration.

Caney Beach Home will develop a policy of corporate and business social responsibility with small, medium and large entrepreneurs, as well as with the farmers of Bani and the entire southern region, with the aim of offering high quality services and products, native and typical, which represent the history, traditions and brands of excellence for the international projection of the country’s image, from this warm and industrious province of Bani.
