With great enthusiasm the population of Puerto Plata received the arrival of the cruise ship MSC Seashore, the first to dock at the port of Taino Bay, built by the company Puerto Plata Port Investment in the bay of Puerto Plata.
Dozens of people gathered at the pier to watch the entry of the ship into the port, and at the same time they shared through their social networks and from different points the photographs taken of the ship.
The cruise ship docked at 8:00 a.m. at the new facilities, which will be inaugurated this Wednesday by President Luis Abinader, whose arrival is expected shortly in this city.
On previous occasions, the authorities have predicted that the tourist pier will receive some 750,000 tourists in its first year. Likewise, in October, the Administrative Minister of the Presidency and former senator of Puerto Plata, José Ignacio Paliza, indicated that the cruise terminal will begin to receive the first tourists in April 2022.
