Training for beach caseteros on beaches of southern region

The above mentioned trainings are being carried out in the province of Barahona in Los Patos and El Quemaito beaches by trained personnel.

With the objective of providing a better service to local and foreign tourists, the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) through the Vice Ministry of Tourism Destination Management and the National Institute of Technical Professional Training (INFOTEP), began training employees and owners of booths and small businesses on beaches and resorts in the southern region of the country.

This is a project that definitely comes to provide greater security and reliability to tourists through good treatment towards them, good hygiene of the premises and impeccability in the referred stalls.

The aforementioned trainings are being carried out in the province of Barahona in Los Patos and El Quemaito beaches, by trained personnel, there, those who attended had the opportunity to acquire new knowledge in terms of control and control of the services provided to visitors.

In the same sense, next week they will be going to the province of San Cristóbal to transmit this knowledge to the employees and owners of booths in Palenque beach.INFOTUR

Maribel Hernández, southern regional director, said that this project makes a significant contribution to the country’s tourism, because through these trainings a better performance will be reflected at the time of attending tourists.

So far more than one hundred caseteros have benefited from this project and have shown a pronounced commitment and a happiness that is transmitted in their faces.It should be noted that the project intends to expand to the four regions of the country.
