The president of the Modern Revolutionary Youth (JRM), New York branch, Elvin Tineo called on young people to defend the works of the government of President Luis Abinader and the PRM in the Dominican Republic and abroad.
Tineo, who made the call on Friday while leading a crowded event with young Perremeista and others who have recently come forward held at the party’s local in The Bronx, saying that the main objective of the meeting was to strengthen the growth of the PRM and to come out in defense of the Abinader government.
“We also analyzed the future of the youth and to know what we young people are called to do than in the state of New York, where especially the majority of party members are over 65 years of age,” explained Tineo.
“We as young people, we are the present and the future of the organization in the state of New York and the United States, we are called to participate in many meetings that we are going to have in different North American states, and this, has been the first to be held,” he added.
The meeting was also attended by Jhon Sanchez, secretary general of the PRM in New York and former president of the JRM, Manuel Felix, secretary of organization, Julio Mateo (Yulin), political delegate to the JCE, Ramona Almonte (Monin) former director of growth of the 2020 campaign command, the educator Jairo T. Guerra, prominent leader of the JRM and Tomas Veras of the communication team, among many others.
As a special guest, was the young Wellington F. Grullón Mercedes, general administrator of the Caja de Ahorros para Obreros y Monte de Piedad of the Dominican Government and the possible candidates for the presidency of the JRM in New York, Scarlyn Cabral, Moisés Sánchez Manzueta and Edgar Núñez Agüero.
