The Dominican Republic is a country that has been recognized for its great tourist offer, the warm water of its beaches, its cool temperatures and the hospitality of its people, but, over time, it has also become the love nest of singing and acting celebrities who land in the national territory to enjoy a romantic vacation with their partners.
Others, such as Ricardo Montaner and Julio Iglesias, even established residences in beach areas. Dozens of celebrities have commented on their love for the country. In fact, on different occasions some have remarked that in this half-island of 48 thousand square kilometers they found the person who represents “their better half”. This has been the case since the times of Michael Jackson, up to the present day, with names such as Marc Anthony, Luis Fonsi, Sebastian Yatra and Aitana, Ricardo Montaner, Anuel and Yailin, Dayana Mendoza, Meadow Walker, Francisca, Julio Iglesias, Mario Cimarro, among other celebrities who are a little more careful of the media.
The most recent case is that of Carmen Villalobos. Under a romantic atmosphere and to the sound of the song “Bachata en Fukuoka”, the Colombian actress danced these days to the rhythm of love from the spell of a beach corner of the Dominican Republic, where she commented in her post that “it all started” with her new king of hearts, Frederik Oldenburg.
In the video, shared by the communicator, was recorded in a magical sunset in a Dominican beach area, where the actress of “Sin senos no hay paraíso” is seen in close-up, in profile, and explained in the description of the video, that she is where “it all started”, referring to the DR.
Sebastián Yatra and Aitana
Before Villalobos, his compatriot, singer Sebastián Yatra was in the Dominican Republic enjoying the Semana Santa 2023 holiday.
In an audiovisual that circulated on social networks, it can be seen that the interpreter of “No hay nadie más” traveled to the island with the Spanish singer Aitana, with whom he is in a relationship and together they decided to meet in the municipality of Río San Juan and Cabrera, in María Trinidad Sánchez.

With Dominican scenarios during the 4 minutes and 57 seconds that the video clip lasts, singer Marc Anthony starred in a love story that culminates in a wedding with his ex-partner, Venezuelan model Shannon de Lima in the audiovisual of his song “Flor pálida”, which was released about nine years ago.
Shot in August 2014 in different locations in La Romana, the video clip shows a romantic story in the countryside whose protagonists are the singer and the model. Of those times, only memories like this one remain.
Marc Anthony also took his current wife, Nadia Ferreira, to his love nest in La Romana. After concluding his “Pa’lla voy Tour 2022” last December, he took a well-deserved vacation with his girlfriend. The couple traveled to Casa de Campo in La Romana, where the salsa singer has a spectacular villa.
