Exodo Lirical seeks to reedit the Red Bull Dominican Republic title

Exodo Lirical will try to retain the title of Red Bull Batalla champion in the Dominican Republic and become the first two-time champion in the country’s history at the National Final to be held on October 16.

At the age of 19, Éxodo Lirical will put his title as the best Dominican improviser on the line against the 15 best freestylers on the scene at the Red Bull Batalla National Final in the Dominican Republic, to be held on October 16.

With the intention of becoming the first two-time champion in the history of the competition in the Dominican Republic and to represent his country again in the International Final, Exodus will have to assert the status of favorite harvested as a result of his recent successes.

Established as one of the most promising improvised rap talents on the global competitive scene after his performance at last year’s International Final, where he finished fourth, the young Éxodo Lirical will be looking to repeat the feat of placing Dominican Republic rap among the discipline’s greatest exponents for the second consecutive year.

After performing as a local alongside his compatriot Shield Máster, Éxodo Lirical starred in the biggest surprise of the 2020 International Final, held in Dominican Republic 2020, in which he managed to beat Spain’s Bnet, who entered the event as the reigning world champion, in the quarterfinals.

The Mexican Rapder, who would eventually be crowned champion, ended the dream of the rapper born in San Pedro De Macoris, who finished his first international career in fourth place after also losing to the Aztec Aczino in the consolation final.

Endowed with his own style, characterized by his fluidity when stringing rhymes and the use of techniques in the construction of his patterns, Exodus was confirmed as one of the great appearances of the competitive scene. In his debut in a worldwide tournament, he managed to earn the respect and recognition of the scene.

Precisely, the Mexicans Rapder, current world champion, and Aczino, as third classified, have already qualified for the current edition of the International Final to be held in Santiago de Chile.

Along with them, Skiper, current Mexican champion, the Spanish Skone, as world runner-up, Hammer, champion of Uruguay, P8, champion of Costa Rica, Basek, champion of Chile, Marithea, champion of Colombia, Reverse, champion of the United States, Stick, champion of Peru, and Gazir, recent champion of Spain, will also attend the international event.

Among the main opponents to Éxodo Lirical’s bicampeonato stand out names like KDT RSD, national champion in 2018 and runner-up in 2019, Leamback, runner-up in the last edition, Dery G, third in 2020, MC Jeral, fourth consecutive classified the last two years, or the experienced Raper RSD. The list is completed by well-known names of the Dominican scene such as Adonys10, Léxico HT, Metricoh Flowster, SM, MR, Dinamita, R16, Reymi, Bardo and Propsion Sorel.

Dominican artist Gaudy Mercy, one of Red Bull’s most successful female representatives, will be one of the tournament judges in charge of evaluating the competitors’ rhymes. Alongside her, popular Mexican freestyler Jony Beltrán and Dominican rapper OVNI will complete the jury.

For his part, rapper Gnómico will be in charge of presenting and directing the event, while DJ Freaky Philip will be in charge of getting the rhythms and instrumentals going in the biggest celebration of Dominican freestyle. The Dominican Republic National Final will be broadcast live on Red Bull TV and the official Red Bull Batalla channels.
