In the third set, the team coached by Gina Torrealva, wounded in their pride, imposed their conditions and took the set with a difference of eight points (25-17).

For the round of 16 of the U18 Women’s Volleyball World Championship, the Peruvian National Team will face Serbia this Sunday at 14:00 Peruvian time (19:00 GMT). The Bicolor will have a tough task, hoping to give the blow against a favorite rival, who finished first in Group A.

In that sense, the team coached by Gina Torrealva will have to leave behind their last three performances in the tournament, where they lost to Turkey (3-0), Dominican Republic (3-1) and Italy (3-0), respectively. They are also looking to repeat their performance, which they did manage to beat in the preliminary phase of Group B.

For its part, Serbia wants to continue showing what it is made of and prove that its leadership in the other Group was no coincidence. And the fact is that out of four presentations, our opponent on this occasion did a perfect job and scored 11 points.

For this Sunday’s match, Torrealva will be able to count on the following players: Camila Chacón Gálvez, Fabiana Távara Arrascue, Elizabeth Bolívar Gonzáles, Saskya Silvano Ramírez, Keira Zelada Espinoza, Alondra Alarcón Romero, María Fernanda Cisneros Salas, Amanda Legario Gómez, María Fernanda Denegri Salinas, Angela Niquen Rojas, Eliane Silberman Behar and Miyuki Guibo Amaya.

It is worth mentioning that the duels are being broadcasted through Youtube on the official channel of the competition. You will be able to follow them LIVE on the platform.
